When To Wear A Medical ID Bracelet

Wearing A Medical Alert Bracelet Might Just Save Your Life
At Home Or When You Travel On Vacation?

I had a very scary medial emergency in Mexico. The doctor was very upset because I was not wearing a medical alert bracelet to inform medical emergency workers of my serious medical conditions. So, I am encouraging all of you to get Medic ID bracelets if you have medical conditions that first response medical personal should be aware of. It could save your life!

Emergency ID – A Few Things to Consider

It is a fact that can't be ignored and that is that at some point in everyones life, some sooner then others everyone will face a medical emergency. How quickly and efficiently the emergency medical personnel in attendance can respond depends directly on the amount of information that they have available to them.

What if you Are Unconscious?

So what type of information will they need and is this something that you should concern yourself with? Also, what if you are unconscious and are unable to communicate? How will they be able to receive this information if there is anything that they should know?

Your Not a Charity Case!

At the very least, wouldn't you like the hospital to know that you have medical insurance if you have it, so you don't wake up paralyzed in the charity wing of the hospital? For sure, if you have a medical condition they would need to know about that as well.

Stay Off the Grass

Also, if you are diabetic and go into diabetic shock wouldn't you like to be taken to a hospital rather the to jail by an unknowing cop who happens to find you passed out on the sidewalk. This has happened to people in the past who were mistaken for drug addicts who the police thought had overdosed.

I Hate it When that Happens

OK. So you have a card in your wallet but what if you are beat over the head and your wallet is stolen? It has happened to people in the past and they were left to fend for themselves in a crowded emergency room with no one knowing who they were.

It's All About the Bling-Bling Today!

Your best bet today is an emergency medical ID bracelet. If you have been turned off in the past by what as available in terms of design styles you may be well served to go back for a second look at todays offerings. This is because they now come crafted in precious metals and in a wide choice of attractive designer styles.
