Where Are The Best Vacation Spots?
Well, of course that depends on what your idea of a vacation is. To some people a beach vacation would be their answer but others might list as their top choices:
The top vacation spots do have one thing in common, and that ones you arrive you know that any memories that you make during your stay will be memorable for years to come. Many people are blessed with the opportunity to travel to many of the top world destinations during their lifetime. Many of these trips will have taken them to the great cultural centers such as; Paris, London, Japan, and many of the best cities in the United States. However, for some of us we just want to get to places off the beaten path. No big cities, no bright lights, you know the kind of place I'm referring to. It is the place where tourists rarely venture.
Traveling
Sometimes getting to the best vacation spots are part of the attraction. Whether you go by car, boat, plane or train most people would agree that part of the mystic of some vacations is how you arrive and what you encountered along the way. One of my best vacations involved a cruise to Europe, and my lovely dinner companions, and our head waiter that always had my husband and me in stitches. The cruise itself was not altogether memorable, but the people we encountered made that vacation one of the most memorable, and enjoyable. That is not to say that I have vacations where things did not go as planned; my luggage was lost, my camera was stolen, we took the wrong train and could not get off for 4 hours, the hotel was horrendous, and many more less than perfect memories. However, looking back I learned something from each experience that made me a better traveler on the next trip, and the next trip and so forth.
The trick to finding the best vacation spots is to be flexible, and good planning. Hiring a travel agent is an excellent tool for locating incredible vacation spots. Travel Agencies can provide expertise and they have a pool of references on many of the vacations they book out.
Another great tool are online sites that offer customer reviews that give you a more accurate picture of what to expect, and how to plan.
Travel is one of the greatest luxuries in life, and I wish you many happy, and memorable vacations.
